It was great doing my favourite subject Art in the new Art Barn and not in the musty old rooms. A lot of teachers wore the black cloaks and they were always the strictest teachers who used the belt! Luckily, I managed to avoid this. Back then, we had classical studies and Latin classes in first and second year in the room under the dome. My worst experience was in science when we had to dissect a bulls eye and a frog- I refused point blank to do it! They let me (reluctantly) sit the activity out in another room , where there were mice and gerbils.
